Where are your services held?

I provide gender-affirming voice services through a convenient telehealth platform, as well as pediatric care delivered in home-based and community-based settings.

What ages do you work with for pediatric support?

I work with ages 2 through preschool and elementary.

My child is non-speaking. Can they still benefit from speech therapy?

Yes! I offer Augmentative & Alternative Communication (AAC) evaluation and training and specialize in other neurodivergent language acquisition, including gestalt language processing (GLP).

How are parents/caregivers involved in the in-home therapy process?

I use a coaching model and involve the family in order to ensure generalization of skills to where they are needed most.

Do I need to be on hormones (HRT) or have had surgery to start voice therapy?

Not at all! I work with all gender-diverse individuals regardless of choice to medically transition.

How long does gender-affirming voice therapy typically take?

That depends on the client’s commitment to practice and willingness to grow. Generally, a client can see desired changes between 6-12 months.

Do you work with non-binary and gender non-conforming clients?

Absolutely. I worth with all gender-diverse individuals, including those beyond the binary.

Do you accept insurance?

I am currently in network with select plans through Blue Cross Blue Shield of Rhode Island, ensuring coverage for many of my clients. Additionally, I also accept private pay to offer flexible options for those without insurance or seeking alternative payment methods.
