Growing up in a multilingual home, my first language was Spanglish. I have the firsthand experience of thinking, speaking, and living between two languages, and that is why I do this work.
When I decided to start my business, I wanted to put my energy where it matters most: giving back to my community. So many schools and families are in need of bilingual support, and I want to spend my time serving the children who need it most.
It is common for families to confuse communication delays, difficulties, or differences as lack of intelligence. Multilingual families are valid in worrying for their child's future and ability to be successful. This is why I use a strengths-based, person-centered approach.
My goal with every evaluation is to help families and schools understand their students' adaptability and potential—to leave schools and families feeling hopeful that they finally have the clarity and support they need.
Outside of work, you can find me singing karaoke, dancing in my kitchen, or organizing with my local communities. My friends and colleagues would describe me as playful, passionate, and caring, and that’s the energy I bring into my work.
Kindly,
